About the Job
We are looking for experienced Mechanical Engineers to join our team at Calvary Robotics. Calvary is a leading systems integrator and key supplier of Automated Machines to the Assembly Automation Marketplace.
Concept, design, detail and create BOMs for reliable, cost effective automation and test solutions that meet the as sold metrics for cycle rate, uptime, and quality while meeting the budgeted design hours.
Job Description:
* Prepare original detailed designs of unusual and complex equipment for the assembly and test of customer components.

* Perform difficult assignments requiring considerable initiative, resourcefulness, and design expertise.

* Ensure that anticipated problems in manufacture, assembly, installation, and operation are resolved by the design/drawings produced.

* Work in a team based environment, mentoring and collaborating daily.

Qualifications
* Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechanical / Electro Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
* 5 years experience designing various custom Automated Test and Assembly Machines in the Automotive, Consumer Product and Medical Device Industries.

* Proficient with solid modeling software. SolidWorks is preferred.

* Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience to include:
* Designing around various Automation Platforms (Synchronous chassiss, Indexers, Robotics, and Conveyor Systems)

* Component Presentation/Feed Systems and Automation Technologies including: Welding (resistance/ Laser/Ultra:Sonic) Riveting, Screw Driving, Heat Staking and Soldering, Dispensing, Piercing, Forming, Swaging, Pressing

* Marking (Label Printing and Application, Heat Stamping, Thermal Transfer, Ink Jet Printing and C02/Yag Laser Marking)

* Testing: (Flow, Pressure Decay Leak, Helium Mass Spectrometry, Vision Inspection, Torque, Force vs. Displacement, and Hi:Pot and Resistance)

* Vision (Component/Optical Character Recognition, Component
Orientation/Tracking, Defect Detection and Dimensional Verification).
