Works within the architectural team to prepare drawings, graphics and specs under the supervision and guidance of senior staff. Ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have experience with Revit, and be willing to work on a variety of projects. Responsible for producing plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules and notes with CAD, Revit or manual drafting techniques from accurate sketches and/or verbal directions. Works directly under licensed Architect.Performs site observations such as recording and reporting of existing conditions and construction progress. Handles problems and questions as they occur during construction.Collects and/or compiles project data as directed, such as measurements, counts, inventory of existing conditions, meeting notes and gathering published information from Internet or manufacturerA?s anizes drawing layouts.Prepares standard details for master details book.Prepares project specifications and bid documents.Performs drawing reviews, as directed, such as checking and marking up individual drawings.Performs construction cost estimating quantity takeoffs.Performs project documentation such as indexing project data and correspondence.Assists with external communications such as making telephone calls and preparing correspondence to clients, officials, and contractors.Writes reports such as feasibility studies, condition reports and recommendations.Performs building code reviews and prepares applications.Responsible for design decisions, involving spatial, aesthetic elements and detailing of materials.Performs other duties as required.BachelorA?s degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology is required. Three+ years experience or combination of design experience and graduate level education. Must possess excellent technical and people skills, along with a positive attitude. Revit experience desired. Excellent references required.
