Manage sales activities of organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate sales
representatives/account managers and designers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that promotes positive relationships with customers, clients, co:workers, and
* Responsible for adhering to, and maintaining all ISO 9001 procedures and requirements of the Sales function and department. This includes active participation in the internal and external audits for the Regional plants, when necessary.
* Manage and/or oversee all sales related activities within the region with the consultation of the VP Sales and Marketing and Regional VP / General Manager(s).
* Oversee functions and costs related to sales with the consultation of the VP Sales and Marketing and Regional VP / General Manager(s).
* Develop annual sales budgets with consultation of VP Sales and Marketing.
* Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals, and advises sales representatives and designers concerning sales and design techniques.
* Assign sales territory to sales personnel.
* Responsible for sales group compliance with regard to regulatory agency requirements including but not limited to EEOC and OSHA.
* Hire and terminate employees when necessary in accordance with Company policies and with consultation with VP Sales and Marketing and Regional VP / General Manager(s).
* Coordinate liaison between sales department, design departments, and other sales related functions.
* Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume and potential sales.
* Assist in A/R issues.
* Assist in establishing selling prices as needed and facilitates price increases and decreases.
* Conduct regular activity meetings with sales people.
* Manage and maintain a prospect pool.
* Maintain a schedule of personal visits to top 25 accounts in Region on an annual basis.
* Monitor performance of sales people.
* Conduct sales training.
* Analyze and approve expense reports for sales, design department employees.
* Assist and resolve aged Finished Goods Inventory; shared responsibility for Buffer Management.
* Conduct performance reviews for sales, design department employees.
Working relationship:
* Develop annual sales budgets to be approved by President, COO, Regional VP / General Manager, and VP Sales and Marketing.
* Responsible for assisting in accounts receivables for delinquent invoices, with input from Corporate Controller and Regional VP / General Manager.
* Assist in selling prices and facilitate price increases and decreases within guidelines set forth by the Regional VP / General Manager and VP Sales and Marketing.
Actively participates on the Functional Management Team (FMT), as well as plays a leadership role in running the Sales Process Management Team (PMT), Buffer Management Team, etc.
Perform any other functions as assigned by senior management.
Directly supervises employees in the Sales and Design departments. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
