Job Description We are searching for a skilled, dynamic and motivated Senior Property Manager for multiple properties in the Rochester, NY area. The portfolio currently includes 6 properties with approximately 2,000 units ranging in size from 100 to 500 units. The portfolio has opportunity for growth in the future. This is a critical, high-profile role which requires a level of aptitude in all aspects of property operations, including compliance with property specific regulation’s, maintenance, security, leasing, rent collection, financial reporting, resident relations, etc. Essential Functions: Monitor property budget performance and prepare and/or review monthly variance reports and re-forecasts, conduct monthly financial reviews, meet or exceed the financial objectives of the ownership and management Supervise teams to control and direct the day to day operations of the properties assigned Maintain harmonious resident and owner relations, provide exceptional customer service Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the market conditions and the competition Protect the value and integrity of the real estate Be responsive to all applicable government agency standards and requirements A high degree of integrity and skills including communication, computer literacy, and building operations are essential Comply with Affirmative Fair Housing regulations and Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action policies, including federal, state, and local governing agency requirements Job Requirements: Strong Team leader with excellent customer service skills and can do attitude Experience with both market rate and affordable housing a plus Has overseen multiple assets or a portfolio of units at multiple locations Experience with large site management (500+ unit asset) High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum of 7 years’ experience in property management Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role Experience with affordable housing portfolios (HOME Program, PBV, LIHTC, etc.) Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, property software such as Yardi Voyager Professional certificates preferred: NAHP-CPL, SHCM, CAM, ARM, C3P (MA only), CGPM, RAM, ARM, NAA, NAMA A current vehicle license in good standing and meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy This position requires the employee to provide their own vehicle for business use. Mileage will be reimbursed Anticipated Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 9AM - 6PM.
