To be a strategic partner and to create a high level of trust and confidence with operations and other hiring authorities in the development, implementation and management of recruitment and staffing initiatives. The Recruiter is the first point of contact and consultant to management on recruitment and selection issues, as well as responsible for the implementation and execution of sourcing and recruiting strategies, and for successfully managing the applicant to hire process. The Recruiter is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable state and federal laws governing selection and hiring along with administering and interpreting Radiologix workplace rules and guidelines in partnership operations mission of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Staffing Services

* Evaluates open position requisitions, conducts staffing analysis with hiring manager and as appropriate, provides alternatives, including scheduling, FTE, candidate profile, to meet business objectives.

* Develops market and job specific recruitment strategies to achieve hiring goals. Strategies would include but not limited to cold calling, direct mail, local and national advertising, employee referral campaigns, university, conferences, career fairs, open houses, internet, networking, etc.

* Initiates and participates in national recruitment strategies to leverage our national scope and realize recruitment cost efficiencies, as appropriate.

* Maintains knowledge of and facilitates the placement of approved contractor/traveler coverage to ensure all positions have adequate coverage.

* Partners with HR Managers, operators and hiring authorities to identify and problem solve recruitment and retention issues, including turnover, market pressures, competitive compensation and management challenges.

* Researches, recommends and utilizes appropriate sourcing venues in various markets.

* Utilizes appropriate internet venues to source qualified applicants.

* Provides thorough prescreens, evaluating candidate technical skills and behavioral characteristics, and submits qualified applicants to hiring authorities in a timely way.

* Maintains solid working knowledge of our industry and competitors and uses this data to enhance recruitment results.

* Effectively utilizes and documents cold calling and networking strategies to identify appropriate candidates.

* Effectively utilizes and leads the Recruiting Coordinator in applicant tracking data base management to ensure identification of appropriate candidates.

* Initiates and supports national and local recruitment initiatives, including attendance at conferences, career fairs and open houses.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

* Maintains and ensures accurate and timely entry of recruitment data into applicant tracking system.

* Provides thorough and accurate information to all customers.

* Follows all team policies and related recruitment protocols.

* Communicates effectively and maintains rapport with customers.

* Maintains professionalism in all situations and involves managers as appropriate.

* Remains current on company policies and employment law and all federal, state and local laws/regulations.

* Uses resources appropriately when facing unfamiliar situations or tasks.

* Maintains confidentiality of employees and management.

Applicant Management

* Accountable for and ensures successful applicant flow management including candidate identification and prescreening, timely candidate referral, interview scheduling, post interview follow up, background check completion, preparation and delivery offers, and facilitation of the smooth employment transition for the new hire.

* Maintains ongoing communication with candidates and applicants that have not been successfully matched to a position or who have declined offers of employment.

* Ensures that applicant data is updated on an appropriate and ongoing basis in applicant tracking system.

Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

* Ability to develop and execute recruitment plans to source the required volume of appropriate candidates, accomplished through multiple recruitment venues including internet, cold calling, trade shows/career fairs, direct mail campaigns, local and national advertising, employee referral promotions, university relationships, networking within professional associations and within the healthcare industry, utilizing internal resources.

* Ability to develop successful partnerships with operations and hiring authorities

* . Strong working knowledge of various computer programs and applicant tracking systems.

* Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks at a time.

Education & Experience Requirements:

The above knowledge, skills and abilities may be demonstrated by a four year college degree in business or related field and minimum 3 years of recruitment experience.
