YEA Director of Operations
The Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA) is unlike any experience youve had. Youll be challenged. Youll be inspired. Youll be proud. And youll be a part of something big
YEA is a groundbreaking and exciting program that transforms middle and high school students into real, confident entrepreneurs. Through the program, students in grades 6:12 generate business ideas, conduct market research, write business plans, pitch to a panel of investors, and launch their very own REAL companies. YEA was developed in 2004 at the University of Rochester with support from the Kauffman Foundation. Today, the Academy can be found in communities nationwide.
The YEA Director of Operations will implement all facets of program delivery, customer service, and marketing initiatives to produce high:quality customer service, positive student impact, and convey excellence in the YEA brand.
Responsibilities include:
:Expert execution and implementation of all facets of program delivery, customer service, and marketing initiatives
:Manage the day:to:day operations of the YEA organization. Oversee the fulfillment of high:quality customer service in alignment with YEA brand and objectives : manage people, process, and successfully achieve goals
:Oversee operational activities including customer service, information management, new site activation, partnership goals, and product delivery and development
:Lead the identification and evaluation of opportunities to improve program effectiveness and achievement of stated goals; recommend modifications to improve process and service.
:Manage company systems and processes to ensure efficiencies and the highest levels of customer service
:Oversee event management and fundraising initiatives.
:Execute on communication initiatives
Qualifications:
:Bachelors degree with 5 : 10 years of operations management experience and successful record of achieving results. Experience in customer service, management, marketing sales, and fundraising preferred.
:Dynamic, high energy, positive, enthusiastic individual with proven leadership, organization, and people management skills
:Demonstrated ability to organize, direct and coordinate operations including personnel management
:Excellent communication, presentation, and team building skills
:Success in a fast:paced environment
:Fluent in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Proficiency with a CRM software, preferably Salesforce
:Ability to understand and analyze customer service metrics
:Customer oriented, with ability to lead a team to create memorable and high:impact customer and student experiences
:Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with different teams simultaneouslyCompany Description:/h3:
