Under the direction of the Controller, the Payroll Specialist is responsible for the processing of TBGA?s firm:wide payroll function and administration of other assigned tasks.Payroll Administration:Responsible for all aspects of the semi:monthly payroll processing for all partners and employees; to include HSA and FSA Review per pay periodFollow up with employees who are missing time entry or have other discrepancies in their time entryEnsure A?liveA? paychecks are appropriately distributed to all employees/office locationsAdministers all relevant updates to ADP payroll system to ensure proper payroll processing relative to deductions, tax withholdings, bonus and special pay set upsEnsures any irregular pay processing necessities are tracked and processed as neededPrepares correspondence to employees related to compensation changes, bonuses, and profit sharing contributionsCompletion of employment verification requestsEnsures all documentation is appropriately filed in relevant paperless personnel filesReporting:Prepares firm:wide headcount reports on a monthly basisACA Reform data maintenance in partnership with vendorConducts FLSA reviews Assists the Senior Director, HR with research, development, and implementation of human resources policies. Assists in coordinating and communication of the United Way activities. Maintain the firmA?s compliance with all federal, state and local regulations and updates/publishes policies accordingly. Other duties/objectives as assigned.Position requires minimum of 2+ years experience in payroll processing and/or an Associates or Bachelors degree in human resources administrationExcellent communication skills : both verbal and writtenDemonstrated ability to utilize various types of technology and software applications including human resources systems and other related management systems; intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office suiteDemonstrated problem solving skillsWell developed interpersonal skills to handle human resources situations in a tactful, fair and businesslike mannerAnalytical and multi:tasking skills to accomplish goals and objectivesAbility to work independently as well as in a team environment HOURS OF OPERATION:Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Our summer hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to noon on Friday. The ability to work additional hours during busy season is critical, but the rest of the year, flexibility is key.
