Job Description About Us: EMCOR Services Betlem has been in business for over 90 years, designing, building, and servicing HVAC, refrigeration, controls, and piping systems for new construction, renovation, and retrofit projects. Job Title: Human Resources Generalist/Payroll Preferred college graduate from a 4 year institution with at least 5 years of HR Generalist experience. Has the ability to maintain confidentiality, strong communications and people skills, detail, results and process oriented. Competency in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for all inA?processing to include, offer letters, reference checks, background checks, new hire paperwork, issuing keys, eA?verify and initiating the inA?processing sheet for all departments to complete, drug testing and any necessary follow up 623;Responsible for benefits administration to include adding and modifying employee information, reviewing invoices for accuracy, liaison for Managed benefits, participate in the renewal process and open enrollment 623;Responsible for all outA?processing procedures to include cancelling insurance if applicable, collecting keys and closing out personnel file 623;Review timesheets for accuracy and provide support to employees 623;Process payroll weekly in coordination with corporate shared services 623;Responsible for 401k administration to include adding and changing employee information, notifying newly eligible employees during open enrollment, the distribution process and year end compliance 623;Assist in annual reporting of W:2s and other statutory reporting with corporate as necessary 623;Maintain a termination listing 623;Maintain and update all job descriptions 623;Assist with reporting (EEO, OSHA, VETS:100 etc) 623;Point of contact for union relations 623;Maintain and update all HR processes and procedures 623;Monitor leave requests and balances 623;Responsible for initiating and maintaining WorkerA?s Compensation claims 623;Update and maintain Employee Handbook and Policies and Procedures 623;Understand and adhere to all applicable federal and state laws 623;Responsible for responding and following through with all unemployment claims with 3rd Party Agent 623;Assist in recruitment efforts 623;Point of contact for all employment verification 623;Maintain performance evaluation forms and notify Managers of upcoming evaluations 623;Maintain all employee personnel records Qualifications: We offer our employees a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package and are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
