:Provide Project Management support as assigned by Project Manager to critical Project Activities as:
:Management of Project Design, Manufacturing, Procurement, Field or Training/Manuals activities for planning, execution, requirements definition, issue identification and resolution, documentation, configuration control, schedule adherence, material, shipping, training deliverables.
:Provide direct interface with customer and leadership of internal functions and subcontractors to accomplish QCD's on assigned activities.
:Assist in project work package management and subcontractor product or services procurements by monitoring task completions, earned values, labor hours, cost to completes, and risk and opportunity management
:Control project documentation submittals, receipts to ensure customer approvals. Maintain project tracking mechanism to revise and replace all documentation and product related to any drawing revisions for subcontractor, factory or field. Ensure quality and completeness of specifications and documents prior to the release of the documentation.
:Develop and maintain Project plans, minutes, and action items. Monitor and expedite project action items. Provide Management Metrics Reports on QCD's of assigned activities.
:Prepare project management cost estimates, cost to completes, billings and sales forecasts with rationale.
:Coordinte planning updates, identify critical path and report resource, planning issues
Required Education and Skills
:Undergraduate degree, preferably in (EE/ME) engineering or business with 5 or more years related experience in project management, sourcing/procurement management with documentation control, financial, manufacturing interface.
:Strong planning and PC skills especially in Word and Excel
:Previous direct customer interface experience within a systems project environment
:Previous project management expereince to include managing subcontractors
