Job Description:/h3:
Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Controls Build process within CAS / CAM
Adhere to NFPA(70) and NEC guidelines for Panel build and machine build functions
Assign tasks relevant to individual skillset of team members assigned to the project
Achieve budget and schedule milestones as outlined by the Project Manager
Work with procurement and management to facilitate project priorities
PART B: Specific Duties
1. Provides technical guidance and leadership to the Build Team Members
2. Support and promote initiatives necessary to achieve CAS / CAM goals
3. Project organization within CAS / CAM build area
4. Ensure proper tools are in place, planning, supplies, and job quality standards are met
List Additional
Controls Build Quality Assurance
Assist in prepping materials for outside services. Ex. Paint and machining of back plates and panels
Organization of components on job shelf, label, and prep for mounting. Order cables, connectors, fittings, and other components specified in the project requirements.
Follow all ISO requirements
Team Training/Best practices
Develop methods to improve efficiency
Assist with debug, I/O checks and troubleshooting
Tracking of upcoming projects inventory
Other duties as assigned
PART C: Management Ability/ Skills
Describe the overall management skills necessary to be successful
A task oriented approach, as the SME you must focus on mini milestones for the project success with understanding of schedule and budget. Must keep a balanced approach to meet deadlines as much as possible.
Resource requirements, material requirements, effectively communicate with the PM and MBL and engineering
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Focus On What A Candidate Knows.
PART C: I: Qualifications
Education /License/ Certification required for this position
5:10 yrs experience as a Controls Build Electrician in machine integration industry.
Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, 70 and 79 standards, OSHA, RIA 15.0 standards
PART C : II: Qualifications
Experience required for this position
Electrical aptitude, Controls build ability to read schematics. Be able to participate in Peer to Peer assessments, work within the management team, present ideas and project savings.
Positive team leadership and understanding of business principles
PART C : III: Qualifications

Strong Communicator
Microsoft Office skills
Continuous Education within the skill set, new tools and technology, continuous learner.

Capable of delivering a manpower estimate for CAS / CAM projects.
Capable of delivering training sessions within small to medium size groups.

Train the Trainer skills, changing delivery and approach to fit the individual or group.
