Position focus:

Responsible for the development and managing of a Global capacity and capital planning system ensuring that capacity and capital requirements are accurately forecasted and managed while meeting Lear's overall objectives in the Leather Division Operations.

Resume Qualifications:

* BS/BA in Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering -Or- Finance with Plt Controllers exp.

* 7-10 years' progressive experience Manufacturing planning/large project management

* Extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in a strategic setting in a mid to large size organization.

* Responsible for planning/managing projects with min value $15M

* Managed Teams of peers, Global experience a +

* Capex experience

* Complex Capacity analysis

Management / Personal Qualifications:

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.

* Ability to handle multiple tasks, with awareness of deadlines.

* Ability to identify processes needing improvement, and to recommend improvements.

* High level of Microsoft ability, particularly with Excel.

* Excellent self-starter

* Ability and willingness to travel Globally to as much as 40%.

* Ability to work with all organizational functions.

Required Skills

Job Specific Requirements:

* Build numerous complex capacity and demand models based on Sales Forecast.

* Develop standard capacity calculators for all process and conditions.

* Develop Global long range plan (3-5 yrs.) demonstrating link between capacity and capital required.

* Develop and maintain the global capacity and capital model (1-2 yr.).

* Develop a system that can quickly analyze effects for short term demand spikes.

* Review and hone Global Capital forecasts to meet Capex and capacity targets.

* Lead the plants to attaining and maintaining their Capital forecast.

* Develop a monthly reporting structure between plants and CCP Manager.

* Develop a quarterly status review structure between CCP and LDO Operations.

* Develop and manage quarterly Sales forecasting inputs.
