Position Summary:

Lead SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) activities with an ability to understand the customer business processes linked to SAP SD and the IT landscape rapidly and able to foresee the likely challenges.

Job Responsibilities:

* Design, coordinate development, test and implement SD-related solutions to increase stability, usability and functionality enabling end users to meet business objectives.

* Partner with the other departments to determine/optimize the business process and solution design leveraging the capabilities of the SAP SD components.

* Lead and support project initiatives to expand and/or optimize the usage of the SAP solution across the company footprint.

* Translate business process design established during planning and design into the SAP SD configuration.

* Recommend and/or participate in the development of business cases for new SAP and non-SAP initiatives.

* Present the findings to senior business management.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

* Hands-on configuration and change implementation experience.

* Ability to understand business strategy, analyze business processes and develop technical solutions to support the enterprise.

* Detailed real-world experience and proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) modules of ECC 6.0. Candidate will have extensive experience with Sales and Distribution (SD) module within SAP. He/She should be fluent in the sales to cash process including (but not limited to) the following areas: Sales order processing, delivery processing, pricing, invoicing, contract management etc. This individual must have an understanding of sales process integration with other functional areas like materials management (MM), production planning (PP), project systems (PS) and finance and controlling (FI-CO).

* Other Sales & Distribution functionalities including Pricing, ATP, Credit Management, Product Proposal, Consignments, requirement types, condition records, customer masters, deliveries, shipping, invoicing.

* Strong debugging and problem solving skills and ability to read ABAP code, BAPI, User Exit, BADI and Interfaces.

* Skilled in the use of the following productivity tools: MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Project and Visio are required.

* Excellent Communication skills (Written, Verbal, and Presentation) with ability to sell concepts and ideas to a diverse range of internal customers

* Good team player

* Ability to balance the goals of the company, while maintaining adequate controls and accurate records

Preferred Education/Training/Experience:

* Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred.

* 5-7 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution and CRM area, 2-3+ years of experience working with SAP SD module (minimum)

* Experience with Variant Configuration, Bills of materials (BOM), and material masters Experienced in leading/managing projects is a plus

* Experience with SAP C4C a plus
