Opening Full Time 40 hours Grade 000 Infectious Diseases Division Responsibilities The Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Rochester Medical Center, Rochester NY is seeking candidates for faculty positions at either the Senior Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor level in the Division. Minimal requirements for this position include completion of an accredited ID fellowship and either ID board certification or eligibility. The Division is engaged in a diversified clinical portfolio and is seeking individuals with interest in infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship, general infectious diseases, antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention, and transplant related infections. The successful candidate will be responsible for inpatient and outpatient clinical care of patients, and mentoring and teaching medical students, medical residents, and Infectious Disease fellows, as well as other teaching and scholarly activities. The URMC ID Division exists in a rich environment of research in vaccines, respiratory viruses, HIV, and novel antimicrobials.
