Come be part of Imaging's future! The Department of Imaging Sciences is seeking an ABR certified/eligible radiologist to join the division of Abdominal Imaging ad/ or Emergency Radiology at the University of Rochester Medical Center. We are the only Level 1 trauma center within the Rochester region. This is a four-year-old expanding division. The division meets the philosophy of 24/7 attending readings 365 days per year. The division currently operates from 10pm to 8am. During the other hours sub-specialized radiologists read ED examinations. The department has state-of-the-art IT and capture equipment. Emergency Radiologists oversee all aspects of diagnostic imaging at The University of Rochester Medical Center and its affiliates. We value our excellent collaborations with Emergency Medicine, Surgery, the Trauma service, and our other radiology department specialty sections. The ideal Candidate is someone willing to split their time between Abdominal imaging and Emergency Radiology. Other combinations are negotiable. The clinical schedule includes a seven-day shift with fourteen days off service. This provides ample non-clinical time to allow for sleep recovery and academic productivity. As the group matures this schedule is subject to change. Compensation and benefits packages are highly competitive.
