Job Description
Staffing Specialist Reports To: Branch Manager
Summary of Position Source, interview, select, place applicants for Clerical and Light Industrial positions. Perform wide variety of HR Tasks including Salary, Benefit and Contract Negotiations with customers.
PrimaryResponsibilities x25CF; Recruiting, Screening, and interviewing applicants on a daily basisfor Clerical and Light Industrial positions x25CF; Write and interpret job descriptions x25CF; Match applicants to job openings and source for future job openings x25CF; Enters pre:qualified candidates, job postings and notes into the companys candidate database x25CF; List job postings on job boards, social media, corporate career web sites, and other possible channels x25CF; View applications, calling applicants and performing phone screens x25CF; Present strong applicants (skill marketing) to current Clients x25CF; Interacting with customers extensively as the secondary contact to establish a strong, trusting relationship x25CF; Working with customers on setting up interviews, confirming new starts, continuous quality control calls x25CF; Data:entry and administrative functions as needed x25CF; Assisting with Payroll, Unemployment, and Workers Compensation as needed x25CF; Providing support to the Branch Manager and the Sales Manager as needed x25CF; Create portfolio of possible candidates for hiring manager x25CF; Check references and perform background checks on applicants x25CF; Initiate drug tests x25CF; Inform candidate of companys hiring decision x25CF; Compose offer packages including offer letters x25CF; Negotiate salary and benefits x25CF; Keep track of all applications and files and maintain documentation x25CF; Talk with civic, social, and other groups to provide information concerning job possibilities x25CF; Travel to colleges to recruitstudents x25CF; Participate in implementing new recruiting technology, such as applicant tracking systems and screening tools x25CF; Perform HR Management tasks including counseling, terminations as needed for contract employees x25CF; Complies with all Company safety guidelines and processes. Reports known safety issues, including near misses, accidents and potential concerns to the appropriate supervisor or member of the risk department Successful Candidate Attributes: x25CF; Bachelors or Associates Degree x25CF; Previousrecruiting experience x25CF;
