Camp Bow Wow is the leading pet care franchise and is all about Happy Healthy Pets and Happy Healthy People. Our locally owned and operated facility has been in operation almost 10 years. Our services include Day and Overnight Camp, dog training, grooming, and specialized care for up to 75 or more dogs a day. Our job is to take care of one of the most important things in a personA cents € (TM) s life, their best furriend. We have awesome customers. We share deeply in their lives and we are incredibly passionate about the dogs in our care. We take incredible pride in the safety, cleanliness, and transparency of our facility. We are one of the few facilities that will give tours on the spot to any person walking in the door. We are ALWAYS inspection ready for the franchise. We want customers that are raving about our services. Please keep in mind that this job is not playing with little fluffy lap puppies. We cater to young, active, and rambunctious dogs. Our job is to turn them from energetic dogs into lap puppies at the end of the day for the parents. This is hard work. Ideal Candidate The position of Camp Concierge is rich in customer service, communications, sales & marketing. We already have an excellent reputation and excellent customers service skills, but we are looking to take our services to the next level. We are looking specifically for people that are: Outgoing and ooze positive energy with aA cents € oecan doA cents € attitude Fast learners that are comfortable with constant change Are team players that take pride in their work Are comfortable with self-learning, we canA cents € (TM) t teach you everything for every situation Can pass knowledge and tips onto others Desire to be problem solvers for the customers Self-motivated to learn and grow Can work and chat at the same time Are super organized and LOVE to organize things Listen for the customerA cents € (TM) s needs and find solutions we can provide Super active and on the go You can both multitask and complete tasks even when interrupted Uses A cents € oedownA cents € time between customers to get ahead of tasks We are especially looking for people that can showcase all the hard work our staff put into the pups and can share all our wonderful stories with the customers. You must be comfortable with many different communications methods like email, phones, Facebook/social media, face-to-face, and many styles of communication. You must also be very comfortable using computers and different software. You must be able to follow our processes and be able to explain them to customers, but know when to step out of process to get the job done best. Responsibilities and Duties As the Camp Concierge, your day at Camp Bow Wow will consist of warmly welcoming anyone entering our lobby. Your primary goal is to start and end every personA cents € (TM) s day that enters our door on a high note. You will be checking pups in and out for Day or Overnight Camp and we are a fast-paced environment. Ensuring we have all required information in our computer system. Get to know each customer personally and their dog(s) by name Maintain the cleanliness of the lobby, office space and front entrance (and since this is Rochester; shovel) Complete all the necessary documentation so that we can clearly share the customerA cents € (TM) s instructions to everyone on the staff Maintain records for customers and keep notes on accounts to best serve the customerA cents € (TM) s needs Transporting pups back and forth in Camp on leash Help get dogs settled into to Camp and prepare them to go home You will be answering phones, emails, and giving fantastic tours Take payments online and in person and entering them into the computer Taking pictures and sharing them with customers Educate Customers; current & potential, about our services offered & pricing Meet sales and customer service goals daily/weekly/monthly Provide professional feedback to improve our services Assist the manager and assistant manager in various other tasks The short of it is the person at the front desk is the face of Camp. They must deliver a high standard of care, showcase all our efforts, and help keep all of us organized. This is a lot of work and with strong people that understand the team environment the sky is the limit! You must bring something to the table to make us better. We are also looking for people that can grow into full time leadership positions, with benefits. To be considered for leadership, you will need to prove that you can increase sales, customer satisfaction, train/coach others, and manage the manager. Qualifications and Skills Your application will be rejected automatically if you do not meet the following requirements: Minimum of 2 years professional sales or customer service experience, experience a hotel or similar role will be favored Incredible verbal and written communication skills A resume and cover letter must be submitted At least 3 professional references, that showcase your proven track record Open Weekend & Holiday Availability [CBW is open 365 days a year] Be able to work shifts that are 6:45am-1pm and 1pm-7pm Must be able to work a minimum of 2 shifts every week You must be incredibly reliable - both on time and present. You will be expected to be someone we can trust to maintain a key and access code to the building You must be able to lift 40lbs+ and comfortable walking large dogs on leash You must be comfortable working in a loud environment You must have a smart phone
