The requirements of technology and its successful deployment are critical to the function at all agency sites. The Technology Deployment Manager role has primary responsibility for creating, developing, managing and deploying new technology solutions across all parts of the agency including; existing sites, new construction builds, site remodel projects etc. This position will be responsible for coordinating tasks working internally and externally with teams, creating project plans and schedules as well as ensuring the implementation schedule with General Contractors, Vendors, IT Operations, users, etc. is completed to success. Knowledge of PC hardware / software, access control and surveillance methodologies, VOIP telephony, remote system monitoring, construction process, etc. will be an integral part of this role. A high degree of latitude in decision process is expected. The Technology Deployment Manager will be responsible for building work schedules and plans alongside Operations to ensure smooth transition is accomplished from deployment to operational support. The Technology Deployment Manager will report to the CIO to ensure tight collaboration is maintained from strategic decisions to final handoff to Operations.A: Project creation and analysis with independent thinking and decision making required to ensure deployment meets agency requirements.A: Gathering customer requirements and coordinating activities during deployment.A: Establishing and maintaining timelines / deadlines.A: Coordinate deployment and support handoff with Operations team.A: Maintaining and manage cost containment while delivering requirement.A: Assist with training and initial support for site staff as necessary.A: Identifying issues and resolutions to mitigate risks.A: Identify opportunities for process improvement.A: Managing all stages of the project life cycle from initial requirements to deployment.A: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.A: Stay current with industry trends and technological changes through training, seminars, trade journals, etc. (Both independently and agency sponsored)A: Participating in required construction and staff meetings.A: Support Operations as necessary.A: Any other duties as assigned by management.A: BachelorA?s Degree and / or equivalent professional experience in a technical field and/or certificationsA: Minimum 3:5 years of experience in project deployments.A: Experience and working knowledge in the majority of the following areas; Access Control and Surveillance systems, telephony, PCs, servers, printers, video communication, wireless, switches, routers etc.A: Construction process experience helpful.A: Working knowledge of appropriate software applications (MS Office Suite required, telephony, access control surveillance, PC applications).A: Proven project management, communication skills, and interpersonal skills.A: Proven ability to manage multiple projects and timelines and shift work as necessary.A: Ability to work with the IT Operations and directly with end users, contractors and vendors.A: Ability to work non:standard and overtime hours as necessary.A: Must hold a valid driverA?s license with no restrictions and possess reliable transportation.
