RJ2 Technologies is a fast growing Chicago based technology company looking for an individual to provide support at one of our Rochester, NY based clients. We have a unique opportunity for full time support and project level requirements at one of our Rochester client sites. The perfect candidate is someone who has been working in a support and/or project role for five or more years. You must have excellent troubleshooting and remediation skills as well as excellent customer skills you must know how to take care of the customer well. Candidates must have hands on, practical infrastructure and client level support experience with Microsoft and Windows Desktop OS, Cisco network hardware, LAN topology and end user application support. Essential Responsibilities include: o Excellent customer service and follow-up o Assist with incoming client requests for service. Address time sensitive issues promptly o Support field consultants in tasks that will help them while onsite at a customer o Desktop, server and network infrastructure troubleshooting and maintenance o Ticket management and escalation of tasks. Identify, categorize and organize tickets according to priority and severity. Monitor queues and managed services alerts o Multitasking - Candidates will be required to field incoming requests while working on several items at one time. Must be able to meet deadlines and effectively communicate issues/solutions o Documentation of work performed and contributions to internal knowledge base and CRM o Able to lift 75 pounds (Servers, Computers, Network Hardware, Cabling, etc.) o Ability to be flexible and adapt to any given situation o Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on communication skills both written and verbal o Excellent organizational and time management skills o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills o Ability to make timely and sound decisions o Detail oriented o Ability to work independently within a team based environment o Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment o Ability to work under pressure and in high stress situations oA self-motivated person with a proven track record Qualifications & Experience: o Proficiency in all Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications. Familiarity with industry standard and customer specific applications. o Familiar with VB scripting and Office Macros with a strong desire to learn more. o Experience with Cisco Call Manager and Call Express preferred o Experience with internal and cloud-based backup solutions. o Strong written/oral communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills required to interact successfully with senior management, clients, and visitors. Demonstrated ability to make difficult concepts easy to understand to the client o Must be self-motivated and able to work effectively with remote and/or limited supervision o Strong interpersonal skills, confidentiality, professionalism and ability to maintain positive working relationships o Proven track record of time management and excellent customer service skills o Experience with ticket tracking systems and process workflows Technical Requirements: o Certifications - MCSE, MCP, Network+ are preferred but not required. Any additional specialized certifications are a plus o Working knowledge of server applications and services (Exchange, Active Directory, SQL, Backup Solutions, Cloud-Based Services, etc.) o Working knowledge of desktop applications (Antivirus, Office, misc. industry specific applications) o Working knowledge of OSIsoft/Pi Historian preferred but not required Salary: Total Compensation Package Depending on Experience and Certifications RJ2 Technologies Provides a very competitive benefits package.
