From the beginning, Fidelis Care has worked to be part of the social fabric of local communities, impacting peoples lives with one of the most basic human rights access to quality health care and services, close to home.Job DescriptionResponsible for effective provisioning, installation configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure; ensures that system hardware, operating systems, and software systems are properly monitored to achieve compliance with HIPAA enterprise standards and promote the achievement of SLAs. Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesConfigure, install, and manage data and server backups for applications and systemsEnsure that restore procedures are configured, tested, and documented at regular intervalsParticipate in audits designed to validate backup setsCarry out regular checks on the status of servers, storage, and tape libraries from a hardware and software standpoint.Coordinate problem analysis of server software and hardware problems, finding the resolution of server and storage related software problems, administers security and backup procedures for servers; participates in software and hardware evaluation.Maintain the integrity of critical systems, applications, and data by ensuring compliance to IT security procedures and standards, and by implementing proper controls.Upgrade backup infrastructure and improve the backup and recovery performance using latest applicable techniques.Perform daily health checks on all systems and communicates issues to the team as they arise.Create and Implement administrative and process documents, designs and technical diagrams.Deploy technology at the hardware and firmware operating system levels; perform basic back-end system configurations to support application deployment and ensure environmental stability.Perform daily systems administration configuration to promote up-time and compliance of the environment; Security Management, user accounts, security settings, antivirus, system performance analysis, perform and monitor daily backups, including restores, review system alerts log, image management, inventory and asset management, and system documentation.Provide Level 2 support for back-end systems; support a 24x7x365 environment with on-call responsibilities; assist in incident management troubleshooting and root cause analysis sessions.Other duties as assigned.Educational and Experience RequirementsWork Related Experience:Four years installing, monitoring, and troubleshooting server infrastructure, operating systems, web servers, storage systems, storage area networks, tape backup systems in a medium to large environment experience, preferred.Three years in collaborating with business analysts, development and projects analyst teams to implement cost effective, right sized solutions in a medium to large organization experience, preferred.Education, License, and Certification RequirementsMCSA/MCSE Certifications, preferred.AA/AS - Associates Degree or equivalent, required.BA/BS - Bachelors Degree or equivalent, preferred.Time Type:Full timeLocation:Rochester Regional OfficeAlbany Regional Office, Buffalo Regional Office - provided by Dice
