OpeningFull Time 40 hours Grade 052 University HR at Med CtrSchedule8 AM-5 PMResponsibilities**Summary:**Responsible for the technical, architectural and service delivery of all aspects of the comprehensive staff scheduling system, API, Staffing by GE. This includes system optimization support for schedule development and effectiveness, individual staff schedule outlines and communication structure. The System Optimization Administrator will work closely with Department Leadership across URMC to establishing and implement a strategy for the use of staffing solution within the organization to efficiently and optimally schedule employees while engaging them in the process. This individual will work closely with the entire URMC Leadership team to provide consultation and ensure that implementation and maximization initiatives are aligned with each department?s staffing needs and budget.**Specific Responsibilities:**Under general direction and with latitude for independent judgment:* Partner with the leadership team to address strategic organization-wide initiative of utilizing API staffing across the system to effectively and efficiently manage staff scheduling in the most cost effective manner in line with departmental needs and budgets.* Support the development of an implementation plan across URMC that includes communication and coordination with URMC department and organizational leadership.* Support the ongoing optimization of the API staffing tool to include: schedule building, report generation, staff management techniques related to scheduling, individual staff schedule outline development and communication strategies.* Ongoing project management including System/Technical optimization working with the vendor to identify opportunities for upgrades.* Serve as the primary contact with API Staffing for support, consultation and optimization requests.* Overall system maintenance and security. Including key tasks to research, configure and test new features and project manage the utilization, integration and training on new features included in updates.* Design tools, methodologies and guides to be used to support the maximization of the features of the staffing solution.* Be accountable for the tactical design, development, implementation, measurement, documentation and ongoing management of training solutions that enhance individual and organization effectiveness/productivity.* Lead the API Staffing System team, supporting the vision and strategy for system optimization and outcomes.* Work collaboratively with other members of the URMC Leadership Team to promote a sense of excitement about the utilization and functionality of the API staffing system at URMC that allows us to effectively, positively and efficiently work with staff to develop schedules that support the needs of the individual departments related to their specific goals and staffing budgets that also promotes support of the individual needs of employees.**Qualifications**:Bachelor?s degree in Information Sciences or equivalent such as Instructional Design, Computer Science, Education; and 1-2 year's experience, prefer 2 ? 3 years? experience with Software-as-a-Service applications, programming, database management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge of University structures, policies and practices preferred.A skilled team player with strong written and oral communication skills; clear and logical thinking and communication. Strong organization, prioritization and program management skills, able to lead cross-functional initiatives. Strong attention to details, credible and dedicated to producing work of the highest caliber; problem solving skills, with a track record of successful disciplined execution.
