Job Description Kodak Alaris is leading the way to address the “Era of Data Chaos”, where businesses are facing the challenge of dealing with increasing amounts of unstructured data. Come join the Capture Solutions Imaging team in solving these problems by using your knowledge of imaging and artificial intelligence to create, develop, test, and deploy new algorithms on a cloud-first platform. You will invent algorithms using deep neural networks, creating data sets to aid in the training of these networks, and testing/validating the networks. Areas of focus include image analysis, classification, and object detection. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Share/teach your knowledge of machine learning to other team members Participate in a phased advanced development process, from algorithm idea, creation, implementation and robustness testing to commercialization. Design/develop new machine learning algorithms to solve customer problems Develop evaluation criteria and automated methodology to test, validate, and refine your algorithms Work at a fast-pace, developing state of the art solutions that make a difference for customers REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE SPECIFICATIONS Demonstrated experience in Machine Learning techniques Demonstrated experience in image classification, data extraction, and natural language processing Demonstrated programming experience in C/C++, Python, OpenCV Demonstrated experience in a Linux development environment Experience with Agile software development Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment to develop & commercialize new products Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skill with ability to work across various organizational functions and levels Possesses strong organization skills and attention to detail DESIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE SPECIFICATIONS Demonstrated experience with various machine learning frameworks (Caffe, Torch, TensorFlow, CNTK) Experience with statistical analysis tools (R, MATLAB) Experience in data analytics Windows development using Visual Studio EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE SPECIFICATIONS Master’s Degree in a technology related field (eg Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Image Science) or equivalent work experience Broad experience in using Machine Learning techniques to solve imaging problems Kodak Alaris is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
