Job Description The candidate will execute test cases, develop and update test cases and test procedures for software and related hardware components, systems and system configurations. The candidate will also work with a multi-functional team and report problems using a defect tracking system. REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and update test cases and test procedures based on requirements, specifications, user stories and team discussions Execute test cases according to test procedures along with performing risk-based ad hoc or exploratory testing, record and analyze result Create and execute automated stress, load, or performance tests Communicate with a multi-functional team through verbal and written interactions and report software problems using an incident tracking system REQUIRED SKILLS AND/OR KNOWLEDGE SPECIFICATIONS: Technical writing skills to support development of test documentation, problem reports and testing status reports Thorough understanding of testing methods and strategies Ability to visually detect product defects Experience with Windows environment and standard Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Experience with Windows OS, Internet Explorer, Chrome, iOS and Android devices Familiarity with Computer Networking and Information Technology Familiarity with PC systems, components and peripherals DESIRED KNOWLEDGE SPECIFICATIONS: Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems Experience within an Agile development environment Experience with Jira incident tracking application Experience in the execution of automated test scripts Experience performing localization/internationalization testing PC equipment troubleshooting skills Familiarity with digital imaging, consumer photo-finishing, popular photo manipulation software Experience testing web-based applications (software only) Test desktop, client/server, cloud, and/or mobile applications in Windows environments.(software only) EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE SPECIFICATIONS: AAS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent degree. 1-3 years experience Kodak Alaris is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
