Job Description .NET Software Developer to perform application development for ASP.Net Line of Business applications. The developer will be working with internal subject matter experts to define and develop features to support a growing international business. The applications will be ported to run on Azure Cloud Services and Azure SQL so that worldwide availability requirements can be met. The developer will join an experienced development team committed to crafting a platform that will support future corporate needs. A strong belief in Object Orientated Design, Separation of Concerns, and Unit Testing is expected. · C#, .NET framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL Server 2012, Web Forms, WPF, ASP.NET MVC, Angular.JS 2, Strong skills in SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services · Comply with all applicable software development processes and policies. · Interfaces with product owner when more details are required to implement a feature. · Take customer requirements and create testable system requirements. · Design and implement software modules using the .NET framework, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, and other technologies as defined by the system architecture. · Create and maintain Microsoft SQL databases including indexing, replication, backup, and stored procedures. · Design user interfaces using Web Forms, WinForms, WPF, ASP.NET MVC, XAML, and other technologies as defined by the system architecture. · Document design decisions in appropriate detail to allow for review prior to implementation. · Document code in a manner sufficient for another developer to maintain and to interface with. This includes, but is not limited to, check-in comments, XML comments, and block comments. · Perform unit test as specified by policy and industry best practices. · Perform system test on all software and configuration changes before and after live deployment. · Setup and maintain production and test servers. · Build and deploy software. · Prepare training manuals for user. · Maintain and monitor Line of Business applications. · Support Line of Business applications using help desk software, and document resolution of tickets. · Stay current on industry best practices. · Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers. · Ability to prioritize and multitask while being flexible working with a changing list of priorities. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Other duties as required to meet the mission of the Information Technology Department. · Skills in automated testing, UML skills (sequence diagrams), Skills in Microsoft Azure deployment.
