Internal Posting Only Alaris Information Management, Senior Enterprise Architect(Chief Software Architect)The primary role of the Senior Enterprise Architect (SEA) is to ensure that complex architecture decisions are implemented consistently across Alaris Information Management (AIM). The SEA defines and manages the AIM enterprise architecture and provides hands-on technical leadership and guidance to the technology teams across IM including traditional scanner product teams, software product teams, and Information Systems. The SEA drives the technology strategy and architecture for AIM systems and solutions ensuring that the ecosystem design meets the current and future needs. Reporting to the Software and Solutions Director, this individual is a thought-leader with real-world business common sense. He / She has sophisticated abilities to lead and collaborate across many functional and technical disciplines. He / She has exceptional communication skills and experience in guiding teams in the implementation of high-quality, robust, scalable solutions.Key Responsibilities Maintains a working knowledge of current technologies both internally and within the industry, and its applicability to the organization. Maintains knowledge of advances in technology, compliance, security, best practices, and relevant industry standards. Develops and deploys enterprise architecture governance processes across IM and supporting technology organizations. Knowledgeable of complex enterprise systems and applications, and can be called upon to provide subject matter expertise in multiple areas in the infrastructure domain, including: network, data, cloud, and security. Review new and existing programs and projects for compliance with standards, policies, and architectural plans Leads architects across the enterprise. Develops a common understanding of the technology environment through the creation of reference architecture. Defines and maintains complex target technology architectures. Collaborates with technology teams and serves as a subject matter expert to deliver and understand complex technology roadmaps. Initiate and delivers technology evaluations and recommendations Maintains a close relationship in order to influence key technology vendors and partners. Provides architecture direction to development teams. Reviews evolving designs of major technology projects to identify strategic opportunities and resolve design issues ensuring optimal delivery Ensures technology projects align with strategic capabilities, target architectures and technology standards. Identifies key technology enablers to optimize technology investments including new, trending and innovative uses of emerging enterprise technology platforms Understands complex business needs and interpolates ways that systems can be used across the enterprise. Cultivate relationships with internal and external business stakeholders Connects people who would otherwise be working independently Additional Experiences Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
