DePaul Community Services is seeking an IT Application Administrator to join our team in Rochester, NY. This position is responsible for providing end use support for our EMR software (AWARDS), MS Office Applications, and a variety of 3rd party applications. Additionally, this position will provide regular data input of reports, templates and customizations as they apply to state reporting requirements. This position will have primary responsibility for new user creation and will share responsibilities with the rest of the IT team to provide help desk coverage, new employee training to DePaul staff, technical support for DePaul supported systems as well as working on a variety of special projects and initiative.Job Responsibilities: Provides primary user support and training for EMR software (AWARDS).Assist internal DePaul programs using EMR softwareProvide technical support and training for Microsoft Office Suite and other internal applicationsResponsible for being aware of system maintenance, upgrades and end user support as well as system troubleshooting; assists in training on these applications as well as general desktop applications Assists other IT Specialists and senior level IT staff with system support and special projects as requiredMaintains current knowledge of upgrades to existing systems and new applications; offers suggestions as to appropriate software upgrades to improve existing applicationsOptionally assists with the IT team to provide help desk coverage Specific Duties: Administration of agencyA?s EMR system (AWARDS) and help desk of sameParticipate in system modification and planning meetingsCollect data and create modification requests as necessaryUse Project Management skills to track requests from request to deployment and supportGenerate forms and reports in systems as necessaryPerform problem resolution and provide support to various IT systemsPerform individual and / or group instruction and trainingProvide technical assistance and maintenance support to end usersProvide training and support for Microsoft Office suite and other softwareProvide new employee orientation with respect to IT systems and servicesCreate and maintain training documentation and videosMaintain knowledge of new database developments and provide training as necessaryMaintain security standardsCompile and deliver information reporting to internal and external oversight agenciesPromote and Maintain HIPAA privacy regulation practicesKey focal point for new user creations, access control management and surveillance system videoPerform miscellaneous IT job:related duties as assigned *** AWARDS experience and/or certification a plus*** Obtaining AWARDS certification will be required to maintain position key role. Certification will be sponsored by DePaulA: AssociateA?s degree in an Information Technology related field plus two (2) years of computer experience and / or training which includes software support, user support and training experience; or an equivalent combination of education, experience and / or professional certifications sufficient to indicate the ability to perform the duties of the position.A: Solid communication skillsA: Working knowledge of relational databases, form and report generation and application best practicesA: Demonstrated ability to be detail orientedA: Thorough knowledge of software applications including MS Office, Exchange / Outlook (Office 365 knowledge helpful)A: Knowledge of computers, software installation, and end user support and troubleshootingA: Strong organizational skills; ability to respond to multiple priorities and meet varying deadlines; ability to coordinate projects involving input from multiple participants and external program personnelA: Strong customer service skills required to maintain effective relationships with staff and vendors; ability to work collaboratively as part of the IT team and other programs and teams as requiredA: Must meet DePaulA?s Clean Driving Record
