Documentum - Systems AnalystOVERVIEW:To work collaboratively within the IT organization to provide technical development/support for regulated applications supporting quality and R&D.RESPONSIBILITIES: Working with a team comprised of business and technical people, document requirements and strategies and convert them into measurable design input and output. Work closely with the customer base to develop and document requirements. Understand, design, configure, and test functionality within the Documentum/D2 platform.Analyze and troubleshoot issues that arise during development or testingWrite/update documentation in accordance with software validation life cycle procedures.Maintain support between Documentum and interfacing systems.Provide production support in response to service desk tickets in a timely manner.Maintain servers, implement Microsoft security patches, liaison with the infrastructure team regarding server upgrades or server performance.Provide technical knowledge and Documentum expertise to resolve technical issues and change requests.Provide clear and consistent communication to management with respect to status of assignmentsScope of position:The individual will be required to work within a team comprised of IT and business people supporting the Documentum platform which is subject to regulation. The scope of the position includes reporting, analysis, configuration, development, trouble shooting and testing, production support for this application. The individual will also be required to work with vendors to install and configure the application and assist with resolving issues.Key relationships: The key customers are regional quality, manufacturing site quality and R&D.QUALIFICATIONS: Education:Bachelor degree (required) in a technical discipline relevant to computers and programming. Documentum D2, DA training.Strong competency in SQL, DQL, Word, Excel & SharePoint Technology.Special Skills:Ability to communicate effectively and interact at all levels from management to staff level. Ability to translate customer requirements into measurable design goals/input.Experience:Minimum of 3 years of Documentum technical and DQL experience, demonstrated ability to configure Documentum components. Demonstrated knowledge of restarting services and servers and interpreting error logs during Documentum service interruptions. Experience in opening and completing technical tickets with vendor.
