The University of Rochester Medical Center is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Epic (eRecord) team as the Director for Revenue Cycle Management . The Epic Director for Revenue Cycle Management works with a highly skilled team to plan, develop, and direct University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC, UR Medicine) institution-wide activities associated with the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Revenue Cycle Management applications. Exercising in-depth knowledge and understanding of healthcare billing services, regulatory requirements, clinical data management and project management, the Epic Director for Revenue Cycle Management's primary responsibilities include: *Fostering collaborative relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure an integrated, operational approach to information system implementation, operation, and realization of benefits through business process and technology changes. *Providing revenue cycle systems analysis and area expertise required to support the implementation of enterprise wide revenue cycle management systems and new business initiatives. *Formulating and preparing project plans with activities, dependencies, dates and timeframes, resource requirements, milestones, budgets, and deliverables in a matrixed and complex healthcare environment. *Directing and supervising staff and resources to assure efficient and effective operations and an integrated, operational engagement approach to all implementation and operations activities. *Planning and administering the overall policies and goals of the Information Systems Department (ISD) Qualifications include but not limited to: *Bachelor's Degree with concentration in Business, Accounting, Health Information, other healthcare related field preferred. Graduate degree a plus (MBA preferred). *10+ years hospital revenue cycle experience, medical billing, or registration experience managing medium to large-scale operations and projects with medium to high complexity environment including planning, budgeting, resource management, deliverable development, timelines, issues and risks *7 years of supervisory experience with a strong emphasis on previous Revenue Cycle operations Management *Experience with Epic revenue cycle a plus.
