Job Description Entry Level Technical Support - Multiple positions and schedules available! Details * "Google-like" work environment - Standing desks, foosball tables, darts, bean bag chairs and free beverages! * Lead users through troubleshooting and problem resolution or escalate more complex problems to other staff members * Short term and Temp - Hire Openings * $12.50/hr Requirements * Availability to work either full-time days OR full-time evenings - WEEKENDS are required (with two days of during the week) * Baseline knowledge of software and hardware functionality * Excellent communication skills This is a great opportunity for folks looking to get into a professional office setting and focus on remote user support and customer service. Candidates with any previous call-center experience or a demonstrated knowledge of software and hardware functionality are certainly desired. Candidates selected for this position will answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming telephone, requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies, as well as Course Management Software. You will collect information about problems and lead the user through diagnostic procedures to determine the source of error. Handles problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up for routine user problems, referring more complex problems to Tier 2, Tier 3, supervisor or other technical staff. Logging and tracking calls using the problem management software (Service Now), and maintain history records and related problem documentation. Candidates should be able to pass a mandated background check and have availability to work either a full daytime work schedule, or a full evening work schedule including weekends (two days off during the week).
