Rochester’s leading home inspection company is seeking a part-time office assistant. Regular hours of Thursday and Friday from 8-5, along with additional coverage when needed. Work along-side the full-time office manager and job-share with the other part-time office assistant as a customer service representative. Schedule inspection appointments, answer customer questions, process paperwork, and work as an integral team member of the office. Ideal candidate would also answer phones remotely (via calls forwarded to your personal cell phone) every other weekend, primarily to schedule inspection appointments. During our brief slow season (winter) your hours may be reduced. During our busy season (spring/summer/fall) your hours and days worked may increase. Additional hours of work to cover other office staff during vacation, sick days, etc.

Primary responsibilities include:
Answering phones, scheduling inspection appointments, assembling paperwork, filing, limited office cleaning, and other office duties as needed.

Necessary attributes and skills include: Excellent customer service skills, positive attitude, a team player, reliability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be proficient with typing and computers (MS Excel, MS Outlook, Google calendar, QuickBooks, and more). Close proximity to East Rochester preferred.

Starting Pay: $13 per hour.
