ER Select is seeking a Operations Administrator/Data Entry clerk for a manufacturing client in Rochester. This is a 4-6 week contract assignment with possible extension. Work hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm. Experience with JD Edwards or Oracle required. General Description: The Office Administrator supports the activities of their assigned department. Must be organized and maintain a positive manner at all times. Performs a variety of tasks as set forth by managers and senior staff. The Office Administrator will identify, plan and implement the objectives set by management to ensure the organization's overall effectiveness. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.Review open order requirements for CNC operations.Records data by operating data entry equipment and resolving processing problems.Maintain required productivity and quality per departmental priorities and standards.Accurately program the CNC's utilizing multiple screens and operate a different screen to assign material.Communicates with team members who will use the programs.Ability to use Enmark for data entry purposes. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Manufacturing experience a plus. Additional Skills and Experience:Must be able to operate in MS Office suite to include MS Word, Excel (Data Entry) and Outlook.Previous experience with Oracle and/or JD Edwards.Ability to relate to internal and external customers in a respectful and appropriate manner.Ability to keep up with a fast paced environment; possess the flexibility and ability to change.Ability to complete shift work, overtime and weekends if required. Good math skills. Strong organizational skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to become skilled at/gain knowledge of area of responsibility. Action and detail-oriented. Ability to relate to internal and external customers in respectful and appropriate manner. Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions and procedures.
