Position Summary: The Human Resources Assistant assists with the administration of the day-to-day operation of the human resources functions and duties. Specifically, this role provides support for the Employee Relations processes and team. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Upload and maintain Job Discussion Summary (JDS) documents in HRIS. Run reports and compile data on trends Responsible to compile and respond to Unemployment claims and questions with third party vendor Assist with performance management review processes, reports, and scheduling Provide timely responses to requests for attendance occurrences or adjustments in Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Run and disseminate periodic occurrence reports. Assist with occurrence removal and tracking when necessary for intermittent employee leaves of absences Conduct routine HR audits involving door swipes, timecards, personnel files, signoffs, etc. Enter and maintain Exit Interview data Manage and index fax data Provide timely responses via e-mail, phone, or in person, to requests for routine policy inquiries Maintain all personnel records in a consistent and confidential manner Maintains company postings on bulletin boards and Intranet for compliance with Employment Law and required HR postings Assist VP of Human Resources (HR) and HR Management with various research and/or special projects Acts as an independent third party between management and employees to document employee concerns, when needed Responsible for scheduling and generation of standard monthly reports to a variety of areas General office duties such as scheduling meetings, filing, scanning, faxing, printing, e-mailing and copying Assist with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR Department and HR projects Adherence to ConServe's Professional Practices Management System (PPMS), Code of Conduct, and Compliance Program Education: High School Diploma or GED Associates Degree in HR/Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred Skills/ Requirements: Experience with Human Resources Information Systems data entry preferred Minimum of one year of Office Support experience Strong attention to detail and data entry skills Must have proficiency with MS Office applications, including Microsoft Word, e-mail, Excel and Power Point. Strong written and verbal communication skills Friendly and professional demeanor with team-oriented attitude Excellent organizational/prioritizing skills Ability to multi-task in a timely and effective manner in a fast paced environment Ability to work overtime Ability to travel between ConServe offices as needed US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident Alien with three or more years of US residency from date of legal entry into US Ability to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance No conflicts of interest with ConServe or our Clients
