We seek a Customer Service Rep - Administrative Assistant. We welcome full-time and part-time applicants to apply. Primary Responsibilities:1. Field incoming calls and respond to emails from prospects, customers, vendors, brokers2. Process incoming orders and manage shipments3. Maintain, organize, and distribute inventory4. Position requires full familiarization with the entire product line5. Issue orders and instructions to freight companies and warehouses6. Track shipments from origin to final destination7. Maintain and organize both digital and paper files8. Significant data entry, excellent proof reading skills and attention to detail required9. Generate and maintain weekly reports10. Pack samples for customers including requested documentation11. Assist sales managers with individual travel arrangements Qualifications:1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must2. Meticulous attention to detail. Accuracy is critical!3. Sufficient ingenuity and flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and solve unexpected issues4. Excellent people skills. A pleasant phone demeanor, with an ability to converse easily5. Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Outlook, and Internet savvy6. No selling or outside sales involved. Your role is organizational, supportive and assistive.7. Bachelor's degree or equivalent8. Able to multi-task. Must maintain composure in a fast-paced, time sensitive, environment9. Ours is a small, nominally staffed office. Everyone is inventive. All are proven self-starters.10. Must be punctual and completely dependable11. Able to absorb things quickly, organize and competently manage primary responsibilities, ask pertinent questions and achieve good results without constant supervision / instruction Working hours - Full Time: 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday, at our Sunnyvale office.Working hours - Part Time: 8:30am - 12:30 pm Monday - Friday at our Sunnyvale officeCompensation: Flexible and TBD based on qualifications.Benefits: Full Time employees receive health and dental benefits (once a standard 90 day period of probationary employment is successfully completed).Paid Time Off: Employees are provided paid time off.
