Summary:Performs administrative and office support related functions to ensure assigned department operations flow smoothly. Principal accountability includes primary receptionist duties, facilities management, office management, and performing various administrative duties.Duties may include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, filing, and faxing. Extensive software skills are required, as well as Internet research abilities and strong communication skills.Job Details:Primary Duties and Responsibilites:* Greet and assist clients with payroll pick up* Send out Daily Attendance email* Coordinate phone coverage with other offices* Deliver mail/packages to employees* Print color copies for office* Help ensure the break room is stocked with coffee and supplies for employees* Contact property management for any office issues* Maintain the conference room schedule and reservations* Maintain record all new badges given out, as well as having visitor and new badges activated* Event Planning, including the branch picnic and holiday party* Catering Orders* Assist with expense reports on Concur* Order and stock office supplies* Run errands for the office as needed* Plan the office monthly calendarsAdditional Responsibilities:* Greet customers to the Heartland office* Answer and transfer incoming telephone calls* Mail distribution* Light clerical duties as needed* Other duties as assignedQualifications/Skills:* Customer-service oriented with excellent phone manners* General office skills* Proficient in Windows PC environment with accurate data entry / keyboarding skills* Bilingual preferred but not requiredEducation/Experience:* High School Education with minimum of 1 year office experience* Previous administrative/office management experience preferred* Knowledge of payroll industry helpful, but not necessary* Proficient in Windows PC environment with accurate data entry / keyboarding skills* -Or- an equivalent combination of education and/or experienceWe are an EOE F/M/D/V.Global Payments, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color creed, religion, sex, national origin, age, citizenship, disability, veteran status or any other protected status.
