We are recruiting for an Administrative Assistant or Purchasing Administrator for a long term contract with a very busy manufacturing company with a very sophisticated product line. Administrative Assistant or Purchasing Administrator must have previously worked at a manufacturing company with any type of MRP or ERP system, and is helpful to have an understanding of purchasing, planning, or supply chain and their responsibilities. If not, a very sharp Administrative Assistant or Purchasing Administrator who can work in a very busy and dynamic dept. with exceptional multi-tasking abilities. We need an energetic person who has excellent computer skills to learn new programs. Company will interview immediately and start immediately. Opportunity will consist of providing office administrative support to a Purchasing Dept. and to a Planning Dept. Administrative Assistant or Purchasing Administrator will be responsible for providing clerical and data entry support to coordinating projects for departments. Create and maintain project documentation, type reports, correspondence, emails, research information on internet and make phones to obtain and source information. Purchasing: New Request For Quotes, pull print's, update quotes in MRP system update due dates in follow up on release messages to suppliers. Planning: Help with MRP - Syteline 9 conversion and data entry. Administrative Assistant or Purchasing Administrator will organize and maintain project files and databases, schedule meetings and prepare presentations in PowerPoint. Can learn Power Point. Administrative Assistant will perform data collection and reporting from different depts. within the company. Attend meetings and take notes. To be considered Administrative Assistant or Purchasing Administrator must have the following experience: Able to work in fast paced environment, multi task and think on their feet, handle complex problems and have excellent computer and systems experience. Must be able to learn computer systems quickly. Will have 1 to 3 years minimum experience working in an office environment as an Administrative Assistant or Office Assistant in support of an office environment Must have good computer skills: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and any ERP, MRP, or SAP system experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to pay attention to detail and solve problems Must be able to prioritize projects and work independently and part of a team.
