The Group Operations Finance Director has a critical role in supporting the strategic priorities of all organizations and functions as part of Group Operations. He/She provides strong financial leadership for Group Ops and partners with the Group Operations Leader and the wider leadership team to provide insightful Financial Planning & Analysis, prepare strategic and operating plans, assess business performance, and makes ongoing recommendations based on consistent analytics and financial results. He/She champions innovative financial initiatives and persistently focuses on key financial metrics requiring business action. Critical to operate as a collaborative but challenging partner across the Group.This key position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer with a strong dotted line into the Group Operations Leader and will support the Operations organisations and functions (customer Ops, IT, HS&E, logistics), as well as Global Ops transformations programmes. This key role will be a member of the Kodak Alaris Group Finance Leadership Team. Additional key financial relationships include Group Financial Controller, Group Treasurer, Director of Internal Audit, and Director of Tax. Establish and maintain very close and effective relationship with BU Leaders.Key responsibilities:* As a business partner and financial leader, provide input on key business and strategic directives. * Provide value added and insightful financial planning and analysis.* Manage working capital with regional and world-wide resources - accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory.* Define and approve appropriate financial models.* Develop and manage performance management systems and processes.* Lead forecasting and pricing models for accurate forecasts.* Manage financial reporting, budgeting, analysis, and planning.* Maintain and improve monthly business reporting - key metrics for business action.* Coordinate FP&A activities - Budget, Forecast and Monthly Operating Reviews.Required experience & skills* BS/BA degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics* Demonstrates strong financial leadership necessary to partner and counsel senior leadership team members on successfully managing a global profit center.* Understand business models, industry standards (IFRS), international taxation, and best practices * Experience in business development, product development, software development, services, or manufacturing organizations* Strong analytic skills - identify and quantify financial opportunities with limited data* Strong understanding of industry related pricing and profitability drivers * Self-starter with process improvement skills - questions the status quo* Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP, and general ledger systems (Microsoft Dynamics) * Strong customer relationship and networking skills * Excellent communication skills inclusive of the demonstration of exceptional verbal skills in interpersonal interactions and instructional delivery so that intended purpose is achieved.
