Serves as key personnel in managing of all Corporate Insurance policies, including Property and Liability for a fast growing organization. Provides backup to the DePaul Properties development team and performs other departmental administrative functions as assigned. Serves as key personnel for Corporate Property and Liability Insurance policies including; a) Insurance applications for renewal; Research and assist with alternative options to existing insurance policies b) Certificates of insurance : for project closings, renewals, and outside vendors c) Policies and endorsements : managing invoices for processing and tracking changes d) Builders Risk for Project Development e) Allocation of premiums by location etc. f) Insurance claims and coordination with other staff / departments g) Risk control site visits as needed with insurance agencies h) Invoicing for Insurance Escrows i) Auto changes : ID cards, tracking and registrations 2. Continue to develop and manage insurance procedures for use in safety manuals, staff and site training 3. Managing Real Property Tax Exemptions (new and renewal). 4. Coordinate and manage PILOT payments / requests. 5. Must have the ability to travel between location. 6. Participates in staff meetings and in:services 7. Follows all safety rules and regulations for self, residents and staff. 8. Performs any other duties necessary for the effective operation of the programs. Education / Experience: Minimum of High School diploma or GED. Associates degree preferred. Minimum of three (3) yearsA? experience working in a high volume environment. Experience with Property and Liability Insurance support and management of files in a customer oriented professional duties. Strong Organizational skills with strict attention to detail and follow:through on duties. Positive Attitude and good work ethic with the ability to work as a team, as well as work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to interact effectively with internal staff as well as understanding of protocol and providing a high degree of discretion when dealing with confidential information. Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Word with the ability to learn new systems. Knowledge of general office machines and telephone system. *In addition to the above criteria, this position also requires a clean, valid NYS driving record as outlined in DePaulA?s personnel policy.
