Our customers succeed because of our superior solutions, intelligence and value.As a Management Accountant for the USA business, you will be an integral part of Studco's Finance Team, responsible for product costing, specific costing for job quotes, as well as analysis of manufacturing performance and variances and other related duties such as budgets and forecast modelling.You will be vital player on Studco's Finance Team and will be joining one of the fastest-growing, most dynamic companies in the industry. Prepare cost calculation for new products and length variation based on standard costing principles.. Review purchase price variance accounts monthly.. Analyze manufacturing variance accounts each month and prepare reports. Calculate annual standard labor and overhead (Machine) rates in the factory.. Ensure integrity of Bills of Materials and routings.. Prepare sales report analysis by location and product group.. Prepare quarterly report on margins by product and product group. Prepare monthly and weekly variance analysis.. Reconcile perpetual vs. G/L inventory balances on a monthly basis.. Follow OH&S Quality and Environmental Policies & Procedures. Other Finance Responsibilities:Actively contribute ideas and solutions for the Finance/Other departments, including the provision of Sales analysis, Margin analysis for input into quoting activities and pricing.Provide financial support to the operations, Sales, Marketing Department and R&D Team as required. General Duties Understand and maintain confidentiality relating to all business activities, especially relating to financial details and customer/supplier details.Be accountable for your time, lodging KPI time sheets with your manager.Understand and maintain correct protocols and SOP's when interacting with other staff, or customers and suppliers.Teamwork and Leadership ResponsibilitiesBe prepared to learn. Call out for additional assistance immediately when a question comes up that you are not highly competent in responding to.Be a team player. Work with the Studco Team for the good of the whole business.Abide by communication protocol for all Studco Team members.Email & phone calls must be responded to promptly.Manage time in an effective manner, such that all tasks are done in specific time zones each day. Request help if you are becoming overloaded.Confidentiality is paramount. Any breach of trust will be regarded seriously & addressed in an appropriate manner by senior management.
