Job DescriptionKodak Alaris is currently seeking a Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join our growing team!As a Compensation and Benefits Specialist, you will play a key role in helping to ensure Kodak Alaris employee compensation and benefit plans maintain market competitiveness while enabling Kodak Alaris to attract and retain top talent. You will analyze current compensation and benefit market trends, design strategic costing models and help shape the salary and benefits structure. Essential functions and responsibilities include:COMPENSATION AND SALARY ADMINISTRATION PROGRAMS.Managing the compensation structure and salary administration program, including the annual merit process and incentive compensation programs for the US and Canada Region. Evaluate compensation trends and market data and make recommendations for new hire salaries, promotional increases, market adjustments and salary level assignments.Prepare reports and provide analytical support for ongoing activities, plans and programs, and special projects and initiatives. Collect and analyze competitive salary information based on market trends and make recommendations as appropriate.Review new and/or updated job descriptions and determine job classification as well as market competitive pay range.Responsible for staying current on compensation best practices and relevant compensation, benefits and payroll laws and regulations.Identify and implement opportunities for improvement to existing processes and procedures.INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL EQUITY.Establish internal equity by performing job analyses and evaluations and establish external equity by participating in various compensation surveys and analyzing the survey results to determine the Companys overall competitive position.BENEFITS PROGRAMS.Design, plan and implement a market competitive benefit program. This includes recommendations for benefit changes on an annual basis, the annual benefit renewal, annual benefits open enrollment and ongoing program management. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:BS Degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance or other related discipline. 3 - 5 years of Benefits or Compensation experienceDemonstrated analytical (critical thinking) skills and problem solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills.
